Ordering & Production

Most Fifth Alloy pieces are made to order. Made-to-order rings typically take up to 18 business days, ready-to-ship rings usually leave within 3–5 business days, and custom jewelry is typically 15–20 business days after design approval.

If you need a specific date, reach out before ordering. Orders can be edited or cancelled before production begins; once production starts, cancellations are issued as store credit only.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders ship via FedEx Standard Overnight, fully insured, with adult signature required at delivery. Tracking details are sent by email once the order ships.

International shipping is available by request only and arranged manually when needed.

Returns

Ready-to-ship pieces may be returned within 30 days if they are unaltered and in original condition. Eligible returns receive a prepaid, insured return label.

Custom, made-to-order, resized, altered, and final-sale pieces are not returnable. Engraved ready-to-ship rings incur a $75 restocking fee, and missing GIA/IGI certificates or branded packaging incur a $100 fee.

Ring Sizing & Resizing

For the best fit, Fifth Alloy recommends sizing with a local jeweler, though a metal ring sizer is available for $7. One complimentary resize within the first year is included on engagement rings and standard wedding bands, with insured shipping both ways.

Eternity bands and many custom men’s rings may not be resizable. Third-party resizing voids both the resize benefit and the warranty.

Custom & Repurpose

Custom projects begin with a consultation and move into production after design approval. There is no upfront design fee, though additional revisions after CAD approval may incur cost depending on scope.

Repurpose projects follow the same restrained, collaborative process, beginning with an evaluation of what can be preserved, reset, or reworked. Custom and made-to-order work is final sale once production begins.

Warranty & Repairs

Fifth Alloy offers a one-year craftsmanship warranty on made-to-order and custom pieces. It covers manufacturing defects, not normal wear, accidental damage, loss, or work done by a third-party jeweler.

Repairs outside warranty coverage can still be reviewed and quoted case by case.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If a package is marked delivered but has not been received, contact Fifth Alloy within 48 hours so a carrier investigation can be opened.

Any replacement or store credit depends on the carrier outcome. Orders are not replaced or reimbursed when delivery is refused or the shipping address provided was incorrect.

International Orders

International orders are available by request only and are quoted individually. Shipping options, duties, taxes, and transit timing are confirmed before shipment.

All international orders are final sale.

Payments & Packaging

Checkout accepts major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and installment options where available. Transactions are encrypted and secure, and full payment details are not stored on the storefront.

Orders arrive in premium Fifth Alloy packaging with discreet outer shipping.
